Research
Profile
I am a PhD Student in Computational Media Design at the University of Calgary. I have a background in Health Systems Research and experience in facilitating interviews, focus groups and workshops to better understand patient, provider and caregiver perspectives. These perspectives can help us understand how novel technologies can better support patients, their caregivers and providers in pursuing their health goals.
Approach
I have a keen interest in co-design methods and aim to integrate these approaches into my qualitative practice. My goal is to pair the flexibility and responsiveness of co-design with the rigour and data quality of qualitative methods. My Ph.D. program allows me to pursue my interest in co-design, with the ultimate goal of studying the application of co-design methods in healthcare.
